The main street in the center of Torrevieja – “Calle Ramon Galud” – runs parallel to the seafront, and is one of the main shopping streets of Torrevieja. Habaneras is a large shopping center located on the outskirts of town with free parking. Habaneras is specifically 1.5 kilometers northwest of the center of Torrevieja. Shopping center Zenia Boulevard in Torrevieja
The major new shopping center La Zenia Boulevard opened in late 2012 and is only 10 minutes drive away, and houses the largest Primark store in Europe. Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping mall in the province of Alicante and is about 10 km south of Torrevieja. The center has nearly 150 shops, restaurants, cafés and a casino. Zenia Boulevard is listed as a bright and airy shopping street with shops, plazas, seating and fountain. On top a wonderful roof, and the building also houses a bowling alley. The shops in the center has sales of fashion apparel for the whole family, shoes, gifts, sporting goods, perfume / cosmetics and accessories. There is also a supermarket here. Some of the most famous fashion brands that exist are among others Primark, Zara, Mango, H & M, Guess, Massimo Dutti, Armani, D & G, Stradivarius, Lacoste, Benetton and Gerry Weber.

Gallerian – Scandinavian Shopping Centre
Gallerian is a Scandinavian shopping center located just off the Norwegian club. From the bus station go up town to get to Gallerian. Gallerian is located in Torrevieja – near the bus station. The center opened in 2009 – with the aim of becoming a service center for residents or vacationers Scandinavians in Torrevieja. Here yoy find Scandinavian employees who have sales of fashion apparel and gift items as well as electronics equipment in the center’s Tele & Data business. In addition, one can visit the bakery, deli-shop, grocery store, travel agency as well as café and restaurant. Gallerian also has a drop-in medical center with Scandinavian doctors and dentists.

Markets in Torrevieja
The town of Torrevieja has 3 popular markets, with the largest and most popular is the Friday market, with over 1,200 stalls. There is also a small Craft Market open every night from 8:00 p.m. and a daily fish market there. For the best deals visit it early when restaurants and catering businesses is going to act the freshest catch of the day.
Just a short drive from Torrevieja there are 2 very popular markets. The Lemon Tree Market is about 10 minutes drive north of the city and takes place every Sunday from 09:00 to 2:00. The other is the Playa Flamenca market which is about 10 minutes south, in the resort of Playa Flamenca and takes place every Saturday 8:00 until 14:00.
At the markets in Torrevieja you can buy, among other garments, leather products, shoes, bags, textiles, fruits, vegetables and olives. It is possible to make a good bargain! Beware of pickpockets.
Market ‘Los hippies “with crafts and souvenirs is open every night from 20 to 00 and is located in Paseo de la Libertad, next to Dique de Levante. See also the summer market on the seafront every night. There is also a permanent market with ca. 300 stalls at the marina in Torrevieja, specifically on promenad “Paseo Maritimo de la Libertad”. Approximately 5 km north of Torrevieja, La Mata, and here there are also a market every Wednesday. The market has 250 stalls, and is housed at the “Canal del Acequión.”
There are many different nationalities working in the stalls in markets, both Spaniards, Gypsies, Moroccans and so on, but common to them is that they are good shopkeepers, so here you may want to bargain.
