Osijek is a city situated on the river Drava, far east of the country, 25 kilometers from the mouth of the River Danube. Osijek is Croatia’s fourth largest city with a population of 115,000 inhabitants.

The city was the Roman Colonia Aelia Mursa. Osijek is a popular tourist destination in Croatia and is known for its Baroque style, open spaces and recreational areas.
