1. Bandama Golf – Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas

Bandama Golf is slightly hidden 10 km south of Las Palmas with Spain’s oldest golf club (Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas). At the golf course called Bandama Golf is due to the impressive volcanic craters located at the path and the little pleasant Bandama Golf Hotel. The 18 hole course was created in 1956 in a light hilly terrain and is characterized for the the air which ensures a lush and a green golf course in near perfect condition all year round. Each of 5636 meters is the path relatively short but tees and greens are often elevated above the fairway, and the encoder a bit extra lenght. Add the sometimes narrow fairways that require little planning within one turns out. Founded by exiles Britons in 1891, the Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas actually the oldest golf course in the whole of Spain.

Designed by Mackenzie Ross, this par-71, 18-hole course, has two putting greens, traningstee, pitchinggreen, instructors, pro-shop, hire service, restaurant and an excellent wine cellar. There are also two tennis courts there, and a equestrian area and a swimming pool.

2. El Cortijo de Campo

Five km north of the airport on Gran Canaria you will find El Cortijo Golf, which course designers Blake Stirling and Marco Martin have managed to achieve a nice golf course out of the flat landscape of the volcanic island. The 18 hole course plays to par 72 and measures 5,833 meters from the yellow tee and 4635 meters from red tees, the course is characterized particularly for its many palm trees. This path has been the venue for important international championships, in addition to being the center for the Peugeot Oki Tour and the Professional Senior and the Spanish woman championship. This course contains par-72, 18-hole fast greens and, with up to six tee per hole, offers the great variety and high difficulty. It also has six lakes and more than 600 old palm trees surrounding them. Other amenities include a golf school, training courses, chipping green, putting green and training bunker, as well as rental of golf carts, bags and clubs.

3. Golf Course Maspalomas Gran Canaria

In the southern part of Gran Canaria just behind the famous Dunas de Maspalomas lies Maspalomas Golf. The 18 holes are played Par 73 and is characterized primarily for its length (6047 meters), and its flat and wide fairways. Another characteristic of the Maspalomas Golf is the big greens and the unique placement on the far Maspalomas beach, which almost always gives a fresh breeze and makes Maspalomas for a pleasant experience, even on the hottest days. When Mackenzie Ross were designing this course, he took the encircling dunes into account. Maspalomas Golf is the venue for many renowned international competitions, and offers a practice green, driving range, instructors, facilities for the hire of carts, bags and clubs, shop, restaurant and snack bars.

4. Salobre Golf & Resort Gran Canaria

Salobre is now the most complete golf resort on Gran Canaria, with 2 x 18 hole golf courses, rental villas as well as an excellent hotel with all the amenities, not to mention a great spa facility. The resort is located in the mountains, 10/15 minute drive from Maspalomas / Meloneras. The golf course in the south was opened in 2000 and is a very varied and pleasant resort type course where the holes are open along a valley with all holes visible from the clubhouse. From many of the holes has great ocean views. Service and standards at most there is little to gripe. Although the pitch is relatively hilly, it’s compact enough that it is viable for most. Dog is the subject up with car eye.

5. Course Salobre Norte Gran Canaria

The golf course in north is a challenge. When you play it one understands why it has taken time to make this golf course. Dramatic and spectacular terrain are just a few of the adjectives it is natural to use to describe the pitch. Only the stone work to get laid greens and tees on hillsides must have required beyond many manhours. So the question is whether you have a good golf course out of all this. Some of the holes are more spectacular than great golf holes, but the world as fun they are to play.

6. Golf Course Anfi Tauro Gran Canaria

The course is a golf experience beyond the ordinary, both design, layout and quality, true service in the pro shop and everything around the pitch is of tip top quality. The course is situated in Tauro valley west of the resort of Puerto Rico and offers 18 spectacular holes designed by US Von Hagge. 7. Meloneras Golf Course Gran Canaria

Meloneras Golf on the outskirts of Maspalomas is one of the better golf courses on Gran Canaria. The 18 holes of par 71 playing relatively short with 5,347 meters from the yellow tee and 4491 meters from red to retaliation has course architect Ron Kirby created a perfect balance between difficulity and distribution of the holes.
