In Spain, in 2016, are 174 restaurants that have received the Michelin guide, restaurant guide par excellence, one, two or three stars. We reviewed eight restaurants with three stars, 20 with two and 146 with one Michelin star; they are the best.

Since last November we know the distribution of the 2016 Michelin Guide stars for Spain. In an exceptional gala held at the Parador Hostal dos Reis Catholicos de Santiago de Compostela, responsible for the red guide made known restaurants this year as part of its publication, establishments have been blessed with one of the awards more notables of world cuisine.

Restaurants solely for its cuisine, the quality of its dishes, the products that they use, the preparation, technique and presentation, have been worthy of one of the French stars. Because neither the architecture of the building occupying the interior of the premises or the service personnel involved in the decision inspectors red guide.

So, the best Spanish restaurants by Michelin 2016 have been a total of 174, classified as follows: 146 are left with a one Michelin star, which means a “very good cuisine in its category” 20 with two Michelin stars , describing an “excellent cuisine” by which “worth a detour” and eight with three, resulting in an “exceptional cuisine”, a “table worth the trip.”
