#1 Les Marines Beach in Denia

The beach of Les Marines is located north of Denia on the Costa Blanca, and is a beautiful and extensive beach of fine sand that has received the European Blue Flag award. Long, golden sandy beaches as far as the eye can see has made this part of Denia a favorite among families with children. Children have plenty of space to build sand castles while shallow water makes it safe for swimming and swimming as well. If you head north from the marina and the port of Denia you will come to the Las Marinas area. There is a playground, gym and summer beach bars. The beaches along Las Marinas stretch have lifeguards in the summer season.

#2 Playa El Arenal in Javea

#3 Playa del Portet in Moraira

This is a beautiful cove in Moraira with fine sand and stones, and is probably the most idyllic beach in the area away from crowded tourist beaches. There are restaurants and cafeterias. The beach is equipped with shower and is easily accessible for disabled people. Parking in the street or in the parking lot above the beach. Playa del Portet. There are a number of small bars and restaurants along the front, showers, and parking. This is truly a quiet, picturesque bay that has nice sand and beautiful clear waters. #4 Playa Levante / La Fossa in Calpe

This beach is located in the big bay between Purla de Basseles and El Peñon de Ifach (Calpeklippen) and is one of the most popular beaches in Calpe. This is a sandy beach with all service facilities. Here is a boardwalk with restaurants, shops and ice cream parlors. During the summer months there are ramps for disabled people. Since 2004, the beach has received a “Q” for good quality.

#5 La Roda Beach in Altea

La Roda Beach in Altea is one of the busiest beaches in Altea. Here you will find many shops, ice cream parlors, cafes and restaurants. Length 700 meters and width 50 meters.

#6 La Playa del Albir

The beach in Albir called La Playa del Albir is almost 600 meters long and there is always plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy a wonderful day at the beach. Playa de Racó de l’Albir as the beach is named in Valencian, has been awarded the prestigious EU Blue Flag classification, which denotes its excellent facilities and cleanliness. The beach consists of very nice smooth pebbles and bathers can enjoy the view of the Sierra Helada`s nature reserve on one side and the famous Peñon de Ifach in Calpe on the other side.

The beach facilities are good and in the summer there are three lifeguards on duty and there is first aid and ambulance in preparation for minor injuries. The beach promenade, Paseo de Las Estrellas in true Hollywood style, honors the stars that have won awards at the Albir Film Festival. The promenade is also popular for joggers in the morning.

#7 Playa Levante in Benidorm

Playa Levante stands out as the beach above all beaches for visitors to the city of Benidorm. This is a sandy beach of over two kilometers. It is located in the center of Benidorm between Punta Pinet and Punta Canfali. Thanks to its location, there are excellent sun conditions from morning to evening, year round. Here you can go skiing, hang gliding etc. The beach is decorated with palm trees that give an attractive look. There is a long paseo with restaurants, pubs and shops. #10 Playa de L’Horta-Mutxavista in Alicante

This is El Campello’s largest beach with fine sand, as far as the eye can see, almost four kilometers. This is an urban beach at Playa de San Juan. There are possibilities for various types of water sports. Otherwise there is a 3 kilometer long paseo located by the railroad which runs between Alicante and Denia. The train runs every half hour. The beach of Playa del La Mata is the longest beach in Torrevieja, with a length of 2.3km, and is located in Torrevamata’s hamlet in Torrevieja. Playa de la Mata with a length of 2300 m, and a width exceeding 40 meters in the south to Cabo Cervera and to the north at the Tower of La Mata which has given the name of the village. The beach has a long promenade along the entire beach where you can find many bars and restaurants. Behind the beach is a large flat with dunes that make up the “Water Mill Park”.
